I am a final-year Master in Technology (MTech) student in Functional Materials and Devices from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur. Prior to this, I completed my Bachelor in Technology (BTech) in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the Institute of Radio Physics and Electronics, University of Calcutta, in 2023.
My current interest revolves around electronic/optoelectronic device fabrication and developing sensing/AI applications using the same. I am currently working at the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR), Institute of Microelectronics, Singapore, on Chip-to-Wafer Hybrid bonding for Advanced Microelectronic Packaging Applications. I also work on fabricating synaptic devices using 2D and perovskite materials at the Microscience laboratory under Prof. Samit Kumar Ray.
During my bachelor's, I was mentored by some of the best minds in research. I have worked as a Summer Research Fellow at IIT Delhi, under Prof. Swades De in 2022. I have also interned at the Center for Development of Advanced Computing, Pune, for a whole year, under the guidance of Dr. Anil Kr. Gupta. I worked with the Scientific Analysis Group (SAG) of the Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO) as an intern during my summer break. I also had the opportunity to work as a Research Associate at Blue Marble Space Institute of Science under Dr. Anamaria Berea as a part of their Young Scientist Program (YSP).

Jul'23: Graduated with a Bachelor in Technology in Electronics and Communication Engineering with Summa Cum Laude (class rank 1) from University of Calcutta (CGPA 9.72/10)
Apr'23: Got accepted for Erasmus Masters (EMIMEO/EMIMEP) with full-ride scholarship @ Limoges, France (did not pursue).
Feb'23: Presented paper highlighting work from engagement @IIT Delhi titled "Effect of Polarization on RF Signal Transmission over Two-Ray Channel" at the National Conference on Communications (NCC).

Apr'22: Awarded the prestigious Summer Research Fellowship 2022 by the three Indian Academies of Sciences (IASc, INSA and NASI).

Jun'21: Ended my tenure as the CodeChef Campus Chapter Leader at University of Calcutta and passed on the leadership to very able members.
May'21: Started working as a Research Intern at CDAC Pune, under the able guidance of Dr. Anil Kumar Gupta.
